The Ultimate Challenge

The challenge of running further, faster one for students, PhD engineers and senior executives alike. The Ten80 Student Racing Challenge: NASCAR STEM Initiative applies this task to a 1:10 scale RC car, challenging teams to maximize its efficiency and performance.

Just like NASCAR teams all over the country, effective and competitive student teams include individuals who are exploring futures in a variety of fields including business, public relations, engineering, technology, manufacturing, design and R&D.

Points Race, Sept-May

Student teams accumulate points by competing internally, face-to-face with local teams and over the internet with teams all over the US. Teams also earn points by marketing, visual design and project management through the following points categories.

* Project Management
* Initial Mechanical & Race Engineering
* Converting to Alternative Energies
* Sanctioned STEM Competitions
* Marketing, Media & Public Relations
* Visual Design

National Finals, May
