Not Just Because...Because it Makes Sense

FTRC Teams want to squeeze the most out of their car batteries. We as individuals and consumers want to squeeze the most out of every day and every dollar.

To get that value, our Ten80 Team makes decisions based on facts, analysis and experienced judgment.

As we initiated the FTRC Team, it made sense to approach DLP Products, Texas Instruments, SolidWorks and HPI Racing. Here's why:

* Our projectors have always been driven by DLP chips because they're a better value over time (and the images look awesome!).

* The RC cars from HPI are the best quality per $.

* We use rechargeable batteries in our elementary and middle grade cars (1:16 scale).

* SolidWorks is the 3D modeling program that most of us used in industry; its interface is extremely intuitive.

* We have always carried TI Calculators on the engineering job, in the classroom and to the DIY store.
